Denise Amram

Denise Amram, PhD in Law (SSSA, 2012) & Italian Qualified Solicitor (State Bar of Pisa, 2010).
Scientific collaborator and adjunct lecturer at LIDER Lab, Dirpolis Institute, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, where she coordinates the Permanent Observatory on Personal Injury Damages, Dr. Amram is the current Data Protection Officer at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna & Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa, Italy), serving as an ethical advisor for EU & national projects.
Dr. Amram enriched her experience undertaking teaching and/or research activities both in Italy and abroad, including France (Université Panthéon-Assas and Université Panthéon-Sorbonne), The Netherlands (Utrecht University), Ireland (University College Dublin), Malta (University of Malta), and USA (Columbia Law School).
She authored / co-authored ~70 publications in Italian, French, English, and Spanish, including two co-editions. Steering committee member for top ranked law journals (e.g. Rivista Italiana Medicina Legale e del Diritto in Campo Sanitario, Opinio Juris in Comparatione, GenIUS, and Diritto dell’Internet).

Her current research interests include the interplay between fundamental rights, data protection & new technologies from a national, European, and comparative perspective.
In ADMAIORA, she contributes to the ethical-legal compliance of the project.”
